Tunisha death: 'Co-actor held for abetment; no ‘love-jihad’ angle'

The recent break-up between film and TV actor Tunisha Sharma and her boyfriend Sheezan Khan could have been one of the reasons for her to end her life, said Valiv police. Police on Sunday arrested Khan (27) and booked him under IPC Section 306 for abetment to suicide. Sharma allegedly died by hanging on the sets of her serial on Saturday, weeks before turning 21. A preliminary post-mortem report showed her cause of death due to hanging. Police are awaiting details of the final report.
