Dilip Kumar was a born actor. But he was also an equally adept director known to have ghost-directed many of his films. The two projects that he most certainly directed from behind the scenes were Gunga Jumna and Dil Diya Dard Liya. The direction of Gunga Jumna was officially credited to Nitin Bose.
