Inflation war to be dogged, prolonged: RBI

RBI's state of the economy report has said that the fight against inflation will be 'dogged and prolonged' given the long and variable lags with which monetary policy operates. It added that if the RBI succeeds in bringing down inflation, it will entrench India's prospects as one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
