Media trials affect freedom of judiciary: CJI

Uncharacteristically warning media to desist from holding trials and unsavoury campaigns against judges, Chief Justice NV Ramana on Saturday said agenda-driven debates, especially in electronic media, are detrimental to the health of democracy in India.
