Adopt tougher line on Russia, West tells India amid ‘invasion’

With Russia having launched a military operation in Ukraine, India may find it difficult to hold on to its hands-off position for long. Hours before the "invasion" started, India's key European partner France, which currently also holds the EU Council presidency, said it wants India to speak up on the crisis.
