Yeddyurappa suffers jolt as BJP drops plan to bring down HDK govt
The Karnataka BJP leader refused to speculate on possible mid-term assembly elections, and said he has not abandoned his “chief ministerial ambitions completely yet”. He said the party was not in a hurry to grab power and the state unit will continue to function as a responsible opposition party. With the party senior leadership not keen on installing its government in the state, sources claimed the days of Yeddyurappa as state party chief are numbered.
